Bring a water bottle and a dry, healthy snack each day. Only water is allowed in the classroom. Please do not send milk or juice for snack time.

I do not assign weekly homework. I expect my first graders to study their weekly spelling words, log into iStation for 30 minutes per week, and read at least 15-20 minutes per night. Please let me know if you are having problems logging in.

There is also an iPad app available to students.

They may read with you, to you, or on their own. I hope they play outside, with friends, and try some extra curricular activities too.
