Girls' Lacrosse Seniors

17 Band Students Receive a "1" at State

State Choir

Ten choir students participated in MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Contest, and all 10 students received at least one Exemplary (1) rating. The following events/students received the following ratings:

Mixed Double Quartet: (I) Max Dattilo, Dalton Russell, Andrew Stoker, Luke Wussler, Marissa Meyers, Emma Hale, Emily Henry, Kylie Kirkpatrick

Ladies Quartet: (I) Rachel Juhlin, Anna Juhlin, Emma Hale, Marissa Meyers

Vocal Solo: (I) Kylie Kirkpatrick

Vocal Solo: (I) Andrew Stoker

Vocal Solo: (II) Marissa Meyers

Winter Sports MSHSAA Scholastic Achievement Awards

The winter athletes had a combined average GPA of 3.21. The award is based on 2nd and 3rd quarter grades. The following teams are award winners.

GAC Hall of Fame

Last year, the Gateway Athletic Conference initiated a Hall of Fame to recognize players/coaches/school personnel that have impacted high school sports in our area. The GAC was created in 1971 with 5 charter member schools (Francis Howell, Ft. Zumwalt, Duchesne, Wentzville & Orchard Farm). Currently there are 17 schools divided into 3 divisions. The first HOF class included 20 inductees. This year, 15 inductees will be added. I am proud to announce that Vince Nowak (FHN’s former Head Soccer Coach), and Jeremy Iwaszkowiec (FHN Class of 1995, Soccer Player) will be inducted into the 2016 GAC Hall of Fame. Vince and Jeremy are members of the inaugural class in the FHN Athletic Hall of Fame. You can read each of their Bio’s at

The GAC HOF induction will be on May 25th at the annual GAC BBQ at Old Town St. Peters Park.

MSHSAA Summer Dead Period

The MSHSAA Summer Dead Period will be July 2-10, 2016. The dead period includes athletics and activities. The summer dead period is designed to give students a break and help families plan vacations. Summer camp dates will be released in March.
