News and Notes

Dear Transfiguration Families,

I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed the much cooler weather. Thank you for a fabulous first week. Your children were wonderful last week and are being so cooperative with the new protocols.

Morning pick up is going very well. Thank you for all your hard work with this new procedure. Please remember that it starts at 7:25 am and we will not begin drop off until then. We are still working on afternoon pickup. The second day was better than the first, but we will continue to make it even better. Please remember to have a sign in the windshield with your family name and grade of your children. This helps us get your child ready and keep the line moving. We have made a few changes:

  • For K, 1st, 2nd, we have added a "buckle lane" that you can use to get out of the car and buckle your child. If your child is in these grades, please drive up all the way to the end of the line to pick up your child and then you may pull up to the buckle lane to buckle them.
  • Siblings will be brought to the youngest child's grade so you just need to make one stop to pickup.
  • Pick up time is from 2:25- 2:40. You do not need to come right at 2:25. Your child will be supervised and outside throughout that period.

Our back to school Night will be virtual and held on Thursday, September 24th. More details to follow.

There is a calendar change, which I have also noted below: Friday, October 23rd, is now a No School Day. The teachers have an in-service that day.

Thanks! Have a great week,

Ms. Kazan

Spirit Wear

This year, I will be allowing Spirit shirts every Friday. These can be worn with the regular Summer Uniform bottom. You may order Spirit Wear below. We also have Transfig. masks at our Spirit Wear store.
