Each student received a puzzle eraser and a growth mindset pencil. The challenge for January will be teaching others. Teachers will be looking for students who teach or help their peers.

Curriculum and Instruction
Data Team Meetings K-4
Professional Learning
Teachers spent this day at NCES working on grade and subject-specific curriculum. Teachers in grades K-3 reviewed the audit completed by EdAdvance on their curriculum. Teachers in grades 4-8 were separated by subject and continued to review their curriculum, specifically looking at new units taught at the beginning of this year. Unified Arts teachers continued work assigned by consultants they met with at the start of the year.
Wednesday, January 15
This will be our first interregional professional learning afternoon. Teachers have identified their learning needs for this day and will be working at different locations throughout the region depending on their group's choice.
