Be Bold. Be Courageous. Be the Change! Be a Roadrunner!
A NOTE FROM MS. GONZALEZ
Hello Roadrunner families,
It's been a fantastic month getting to know our students. Roadrunners have settled into rituals and routines, and great teaching and learning are taking place in every classroom! Teachers are working diligently to provide all students with nurturing environments and engaging learning experiences. The first progress report was issued last week and is available through the Home Access Center. One way to stay involved is to track your child's progress and remain curious about their learning. Reach out to your child's teacher with any questions.
Tutoring began today. I ask that you keep an open mind to tutoring, as we may invite any student to participate. They don't need to be struggling in some cases, but rather be invited to help accelerate their learning. Some after-school programs have begun, and others will begin next week (flyers with more information are below). This month, we will also hold parent-teacher conferences. The teacher will schedule a time for you to meet or participate in student-led conferences.
I'm extremely proud to announce that Edgemere International is an "A" Rated campus thanks to our hard-working students, supportive parents, dedicated teachers and support personnel. It takes everyone to make Edgemere shine. Congratulations!
Thank you for helping us get off to a great start! We are grateful for your support with morning and after-school routines, homework, and great communication. The parent-school partnership is critical to our students' success.
Remember that there is no school on Labor Day, Monday, September 5. Enjoy your three-day weekend!
Kindly,

Atentamente,
Sra. González 💙💛
