THE SUN VOYAGER
An amazing place to visit! When do you find a sculpture that mixes modern and traditional art! If you ever go to Reykjavik,Iceland, this is the place to go."Excellent place for some photos across the bay - the sculpture itself looks fantastic too. A short walk from the main street." -Emma M.The Sun Voyager is a sculpture created by artist Jón Gunnar Árnason. He created the sculpture in 1990. It represents freedom, the willingness to discover, and peace. The sculpture was made out of stainless steel, and can be seen by tourists any time!
Ski resorts
"I had lots of fun skiing and snowboarding on the mountains of this beautiful city. I would love to go there again!" - Gurmehak
The ski resorts are extremely fun! There are hills for any type of skier. In my opinion, the Blafjoll Ski Resort was the greatest. Nothing can stop us not even the weather.
The amazing food!

Icelandic Cocoa Soup
?Mmm, this cocoa soup really is super yummy! A sweet, chocolatey treat, perfect for a chilly day or just to cheer you up after work. I enjoyed it with some home-made spice cookies, which was a perfect match. For flavour this would be a definite 5 stars, but unfortunately it never thickened, even though I used 2 tbs potato starch and allowed the soup to simmer for quite a while. Nonetheless it was very much enjoyed! :)"-Lalaloula
Baked Fish from Iceland
"it turned out very good. I used a thick grouper fillet, which is also a very white mild fish. I didn't change any ingredients, but I did add the lemon juice with the cream and mustard rather than squeezing the lemon on with the salt and pepper. I just felt it blended in better. I used a mild swiss cheese fresh grated."-SarasotaCook
Lummur
"On the 3rd Thursday in April we in Iceland celebrate the 1st day of summer - if it is snow, rain or sun. It is a national bank holiday and my h2b wears short trousers that day - snow, rain or sun. Lummur are simmilar to pancakes but the dough is thicker. We make them round and sized like paddies. I like them with smoked salmon and fresh slices of cucumber, any type of cheese, whipped cream and strawberries, my favorite jam or just plain. They are best fresh and still warm but the keep quite well and you can take them with you. I have not tried freezing them but it should be ok."-Iceland's Note:
