LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP SPOTLIGHT
Tarrant County Republican Hispanic Assembly Essay Award Scholarship
Fort Worth ISD seniors are encouraged to apply to become a recipient of the Tarrant County Republican Hispanic Assembly Essay Award Scholarship.
Recipients of this scholarship must provide the requested supporting documents:
- High School senior in the Tarrant County area
- 500 word minimum essay “Which Political Change Struck You Most During Your Senior Year?”
Students can email their completed packets to TCRHA@outlook.com by the deadline of 10:00 am on May 13, 2022.

Association of Old Crows Fort Worth Chapter Scholarship
Fort Worth ISD seniors are encouraged to apply to become a recipient of the Association of Old Crows Fort Worth Chapter Scholarship.
Recipients of this scholarship must meet the following requirements:
- Resident of Tarrant, Parker, Taylor, or Jones County
- High school senior planning to pursue a technical, science, math, computer science, information systems, or engineering degree
- Copy of SAT or ACT scores
- Unweighted GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale
The application must be completed and received by the application deadline date.

MORE THAN 30 SENIORS NAMED TCU COMMUNITY SCHOLARS
More than 30 Fort Worth ISD seniors were recently awarded full scholarships through Texas Christian University’s Community Scholars program, the District’s Collegiate Programming and Advisement Department reports.
TCU Community Scholars offers students a full-ride scholarship to the university valued at more than $280,000. The scholarship covers room, board, tuition, books and a 17-week study abroad opportunity anywhere in the world TCU has academic programs.

FORT WORTH ISD GRADUATION COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!
The countdown is underway –and there are a few things students and their families need to know to make their graduation celebration memorable and stress-free!
All Fort Worth ISD commencement ceremonies are live and in person this year. After two years of safety measures necessitated by COVID, we are returning to a participatory with all of the “Pomp and Circumstance” we can muster!
