Hadley PBL to Support Churchill School

Mr. Gidley’s 7th and 8th grade math students are using their geometry standards to help Churchill School design a sensory room for students when they are feeling anxious at school. Mr. Gidley’s class visited Churchill to take measurements of the identified space for the sensory room. They are calculating area, perimeter and volume of the space as well as researching the items they would like to put in the room. They went on a field experience trip to visit the SEASPAR Wonders Sensory Room in Lisle to get ideas about the type of items to include. Thank you, Hadley students and SEASPAR!
