February 16 and 19

February 16 and 19 are now instructional days for teachers and students. If you had previous plans that cannot be changed please speak to your child's teacher directly.

Cinderella Valentine's Day Ball

PES is hosting a Cinderella ball. It is Friday, February 9 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The cost is $2.00 per child or $5.00 per family.

Dr. Seuss Read Across America

We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss and his birthday all week long. February 26- March 2

Jump Rope for Heart

The JRFH event will be Friday, February 23. Students must raise a minimum of $5.00 to attend. All money is due Thursday, February 22. Our school goal is $10,000! We did it last year, and Coach knows we can do it again. When we reach our goal Coach Forrester and Mrs. McLendon will do something fun and crazy for our students.

AR Reading Champion

The 3rd 9 week AR goal is 13 books by March 2. Miss Duncan and Mrs. Elliott go to the library on Tuesday, and Mrs. Reese goes to the library on Wednesday. Please make sure you and your child are reading their library book, and we will make sure they take an AR test at school.

February's character trait is KINDNESS. These students were chosen because they exemplify kindness in all that they do. They are always there to offer some encouragement, be a friend to someone who needs one, or help a teacher when in need.
