Music Department Performance Dates in December
The music department has lots of performance dates in December.
Our Liberty Orchestra concert is December 5th at 6:30 PM and our Liberty Band concert is on December 7th at 6:00 PM. Both performances are at CTA Liberty in the MPR.
The Voices of Liberty and the Liberty Ukulele Club have a concert at CTA Humphrey on Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00 PM (5:30 PM call time for student musicians). The same concert will be performed at CTA Liberty on Thursday, December 14th at 8:30 and 9:30 AM.
The Liberty Orffestra’s concert is on Wednesday, December 13th at CTA Liberty in the MPR at 6:30 PM with a 6:00 PM call time for student musicians.
Jingle Jog - 12/15/23
Come join us for the CTA Liberty's Jingle Jog!
· Who: Students and their families. Yes, parents and siblings are invited too!
· What: A "Fun" run, or walk, up to one mile. Just for fun!
· When: Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00 on the lacrosse field

STUCO Holiday Spirit Week - 12/18/23 through 12/21/23
CTA Liberty's STUCO is sponsoring our Holiday Spirit Week from Monday, December 18th through Thursday, December 21st.
Monday, 12/18
- Cocoa by the Fire: Wear your cold weather gear - flannels, jeans and boots.
Tuesday, 12/19
- Holiday Havoc: Wear ALL your holiday gear - Ugly sweaters, holiday hats, jewelry and socks.
Wednesday, 12/20
- Holiday Cheer: Wear a shirt with your favorite holiday season character with a uniform bottom.
Thursday, 12/21
- Long Winter's Nap: Wear your pajamas!
A Spirit Week flyer is attached for printing at home. Any student not choosing to participate, should wear their school uniform.

Mrs. Daeijavad, CTA Liberty PreK paraeducator, was chosen as November's Positive Para for the Month of November. Congratulations to Mrs. Daeijavad and thank you for your continued dedication to our students in the Early Childhood program!

2024-25 Enrollment Important Dates
Important enrollment dates for the 2024-25 School Year:
- January 8, 7:30 a.m. - Open Enrollment for grades K-12 begins.
Open Enrollment is designed to allow your child to attend a school outside your home school boundaries. - January 10, 9 a.m. - Enrollment in home boundary school for grades K-12 begins.

If you have a student currently enrolled at CTA Liberty and would like them to continue for the 2024-25 school year, please look for the Intent to Return information coming later next year. Once you have confirmed your student's intent to return, they will automatically be enrolled for the 2024-25 school year. Please share the information above with any family you know wishing to have their student attend CTA Liberty.

Library Materials Selection and Adoption
CTA Families - This notification is to inform you that we will be purchasing new books/materials for our library on December 1, 2023. State law mandates that schools notify parents of the opening and closing public view period within seven (7) school days prior to the opening date. Therefore, this notice dated December 11, 2023, provides the opening date of the public review period for newly purchased library books/materials as December 11, 2023 and the closing date of December 11, 2023.

PTO APEX Fundraiser is Here!
PTO kicked off their Apex Fundraiser with an epic school pep rally on Tuesday, November 28th. Everyone brought their energy and is excited about Apex Power. Check out our social media for updates and support as we raise funds for campus improvements and student and staff resources!
PTO needs volunteers to help the day of the run - Thursday, December 7th. Please click on the link below to sign up to help at the run or to donate otter pops!

*SCHOOL/SAFETY REMINDERS*
General School Reminders
As a reminder:
- Drop Off in the morning is no earlier than 7:45 am. Although building doors may be unlocked, students are not allowed on campus until 7:45 am.
- In the North (back) parking lot students should only enter or exit cars in front of the Muli-purpose Room. They should not be entering or exiting cars in front of the annex or along the curb leading to the Muliti-purpose Room.
- Students should not exit cars on Emmett Drive while waiting to enter the parking lot.
- No U-Turns in crosswalks or in front of the school.
- The back gate closes at 8:05 am to allow teachers to report to their classrooms. If the back gate is closed you must drop your student off through the front gate and follow the drop off rules. Please do not have your student exit your car until they have reached a teacher at the front of the line.
- Please have your student dressed appropriately for the weather. If they wear a jacket or sweater to school, please be sure it is dress code approved (red, white or blue) and clearly labeled with the student's name. All water bottles should also be labeled.
- Only students and staff are allowed on campus, with the exception of Pre K parents, for drop off and pick up. During school hours, parents may only enter campus through the front office.
- After school clubs: No parents/guardians are allowed on campus for after school clubs. Students will be directed to their club location by staff and parents/guardians should pick up at the appropriate time in the south parking lot (front of school near the flag). The club sponsor will stay with the students until they are picked up.
