Individual school photos will be tomorrow, Tuesday, September 20. Students should be dressed in mandatory uniform. Students who have PE should bring their clothes to change into for class. 8th grade parents please check your emails for additional information! Order forms for pictures were sent home last week. As a reminder, 2 Lunch Duties (1 in the Fall and 1 in the Spring) and 2 Recess Duties (1 in the Fall and 1 in the Spring) are required of each family.

We encourage parents to email teachers with any questions or concerns. However, please note that our teachers' contractual hours are 7:30-3:30, and they are not expected to return emails outside of that time frame. We want to respect their time with their families. If there is an emergency that you need to relay past 3:30, please feel free to email me and I will be sure the information is passed along. Teachers will respond to your emails or voicemails within 24 hours.

We encourage parents to strictly monitor their child's cell phone use. We have heard that there are group chats within grade levels, which sometimes contain inappropriate topics and messages. While we have not seen these, or know the specifics, we want to encourage parents to check their children's phones regularly. You should be sure to check text messages, SnapChat messages, Tik Tok, and Instagram posts and DM's. If an inappropriate message spills over into the school and causes any issues, students will be disciplined as per the Code of Conduct. Also, as a reminder if any student posts anything to discredit our school, staff or parish, this is considered a level 4 infraction and will result in a suspension.

Also, please note, ONLY Middle School students are permitted to bring a cell phone to school, and a cell phone contract must be on file in order for this to be allowed. Cell phones are collected in homeroom and stored securely until dismissal. Students may NOT have cell phones in their lockers, backpacks, pocket, or lunch box during the school day.

The first quarter ends on October 7th! Please be sure that you are assisting your child in checking RenWeb (grades 3-8) to monitor grades. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's grades, please reach out to the teacher.

Parents, as a reminder, please do NOT pull out of the carline. Please stay in your spot until the line starts to move and then follow the flow of traffic. We have had some cars trying to pull out once their child is loaded/unloaded. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!

Anyone who tests positive must stay at home for 5 full days before returning to school on Day 6, provided that there has been no fever for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicines and that other symptoms are improving. (Please note that the first day of symptoms is considered Day 0.)

Siblings of positive cases may continue coming to school as long as they are not exhibiting ANY symptoms. Please use good judgment when sending siblings to school based on the amount of exposure they have had with the positive sibling.

Youth Ministry: Please be sure to register your youth using the link below so you can be added onto our weekly email list! Events for high school will begin Sept. 11th after the 5pm mass in the cultural center (more about this event will be sent out to our email list). Middle school events will occur in the coming months as we accumulate more adult volunteers but please still register your youth so you can be updated about possible events occurring in the ministry, at the parish or in the diocese!
