Samuel Adams was born on September 27, 1722 In Boston Massachusetts. He attended Harvard collage 1740-1743. He was a founding father, member of continental congress, signer of the declaration of independence, and a leading proponet of colonial independence from Great Britain. After the revolution Adams served four terms as Governor of Massachusetts. Samuel Adams encouraged colonists to protest the new British taxes. He believed that parliament could not tax the colonists without their consent and said that agreeing to the tax would be dangerous.
