Kia ora whānau,
What a beautiful day and a glorious start to the holidays. As a staff we are grateful that we have been able to spend today working on our own professional learnings and would like to acknowledge your support of us in regard to looking after your tamariki today. We are trying to make a difference and your support helps us to do that. You now deserve as much chocolate as the Easter bunny can deliver this weekend.
As you will be aware we are now at the orange traffic light setting but for us this will mean little change yet as we are very conscious that many of our tamariki and kaiako are yet to be affected by COVID. It is important that we take a safety first approach. While we are yet to fully realise the impact these changes will have on our kura, we are looking forward to being able to gather together in greater numbers and resurrecting our tuakana-teina (buddy systems) once again.
There will be a COVID update each Thursday over the holidays. Please remember to contact us if your child tests positive.
