Time...my greatest challenge!
Counselor’s Cubby
I am making binders with updated 504 accommodation plans and the most current STAAR accommodations. I will also be including our newly revised Teacher Receipt of 504 Accommodations. Be sure to review the instructional and testing accommodations, sign the receipt, and return to me. As always, please let me know if you have questions about any of the accommodations for your students. Thank you for always being available for the meetings and always being positive with our parents!
Viking Character Trait for March
Is
Responsibility
Our students have so many opportunities to demonstrate their sense of responsibility. In March, let’s revisit our mission to encourage our students to be safe, responsible, and respectful. What does responsibility look like in the halls, in the cafeteria, in the classroom, and when working on projects? Worthwhile discussions that will bring rewards when we are all counting the days until summer. Hopefully, you are not already counting?!
Every right implies a responsibility; Every opportunity, an obligation,
Every possession, a duty.

Mindful Teaching by the Numbers:
· It only takes 5 minutes to have a healthy snack. Be sure to stock up on some of your favorites
· There are only 24 hours in the day. Don’t try to pretend otherwise.
· 100% of teachers feel overwhelmed from time to time, so cut yourself a little slack, okay?
· You only need 1 other person to start a support group. Is there someone you can ask for help today?
