Fall Break This Week: NO SCHOOL
School resumes Monday, October 16th following our normal Monday schedule.
Finish out the second half of this semester strong. Semester grades are recorded on December 21st, 2023. There’s plenty of time to work hard and make sure your official transcript reflects the grades you want!
Upcoming Events
OCTOBER 20th @ 8am
1.PSAT for Grades 9-11All students grades 9-11 will be taking the PSAT. Please mark your calendars to ensure students are at school, on time, as the test is timed and students who arrive late risk missing out on the start of the test. Some colleges offer scholarships based on PSAT scores. Doing your best on this test can open doors of opportunity. Top scores can earn recognition from the National Merit program
Students can use the new BlueBook app on your computer to explore how to take the test and access study guide, practice tests and test taking strategies. Try Kahn Academy too!
Seniors will be in the main and east library for workshops on various topics to help get them ready for graduation: College and Career Applications, Financial Aid and Scholarship Applications, Personal Statement/Resume writing, Gap Year Opportunities, Financial Literacy for life, Civics and CPR graduation requirements and Graduation Gear ordering!

OCTOBER 25th: No School
No school for students as teachers and staff will attend professional development sessions.

Rincon’s 65th Anniversary
Rincon’s PTA is putting together a celebration of Rincon’s 65th Anniversary and is looking for alumni band members who would like to play the Rincon fight song at the football game on October 27th.
