Principal Message- Supply Pick Up

Dear Families,

It was wonderful seeing so many of you and a few students at the Supply Pick Up on May 19. We estimate that we gave back 500 bags of supplies and have about 100 more. If you were unable to come on May 19, we have two more days in which you may pick up this school year. We will be available to hand out supplies on May 28 and June 1. Please come between 9-1:30 PM.

We ask that you clearly write your child's first and last name and teacher on a piece of paper to hand to our staff.

We will also collect any classroom or library books you would like to return. These can also be returned when school resumes in the fall.

Please stay in your car and we will bring your student's items to you.

Take care,

Tracy Bariao

Principal

Next Year Planning

In an effort to assist us with our planning for the 2020-2021 school year, we request that you notify us whether or not your child will NOT be returning to Scholls Heights Elementary School or MAY NOT be returning for the 2020-2021 school year. In order to predict accurate enrollment for the upcoming school year, we need this information as soon as possible. Safe Routes Survey

The entire message is below but we need your help. Please take a minute to fill this survey out. http://www.saferoutesdata.org/surveyformparent.cfm?key=8377306

Message and Survey from Safe Routes to School

Dear Scholls Heights Parents and Guardians,

It’s data collection time again for Beaverton’s Safe Routes to School program. The purpose of this program is to make walking and biking to school safe, convenient and fun.

Parent and guardian input into how students travel to and from schools and their impression of the safety of the route is valuable as the city and county prioritize needed improvements for our roads. The following link was generated from the National Safe Routes to School Center and will be used to give us a good picture of how students are getting to and from schools throughout the district.

The school’s survey will be open for responses until May 31.

We appreciate your help in giving us information to make our program effective for all Beaverton School District students.

Thank you,

Leah Biado-Luis
