Placement for the 2018- 2019 School Year
Placement of students for the next school year is a team process. The classroom teachers, together with Mrs. Froning and special area teachers meet to consider the best placement for every student. Many aspects of a child’s development, including the academic, social, and emotional needs of all our students are carefully considered. In addition to individual needs, we must also consider the balance of each classroom, so that optimal learning environments are created for a ll students.
The final decision for placement rests with the Mrs. Froning. Requests for specific teachers cannot be honored due to the complexities of the placement process. However, if you have specific concerns about your child, please share these with Mrs. Froning on or before April 27th. (Paper copy or email) kristinfroning@wlcsd.org Once class lists are developed, changes are not made unless class sizes become unbalanced.
