All About Me

Hi Everyone,

My name is Emily Driscoll and I am 18 years of age.

At the start of this year, 2013, I began the first year of my tertiary education at the University of Notre Dame, Australia. I am undertaking the Bachelor of Education (Primary) and am really enjoying the course and all that it has offered me so far.

I have a strong passion for the subject of English so there was no hesitation in deciding which subject I would nominate for my specialty. Outside of the classroom, I am involved with the co-curricular activity of coaching a Year 9 Netball team at John XXIII College. Through coaching, I have further developed my leadership skills, which would be beneficial for the school, as this experience has provided me, in a sense, with various methods that could be used for classroom management.

My Passion for Teaching

Teaching has always been a highly regarded passion of mine throughout the course of my 12 years of education. From the very early stages of my primary education at Wembley Primary School and thereafter at my high school, John XXIII College in Mt Claremont, I admired my teachers and their ability to provide their students with the knowledge required for them to grow and develop and I hope I can do the same for my students.
