ROSIE READERS PROGRAM
We now have 15 students actively involved in the Rosie Readers Program. Although this is a great start for a new program, we are hoping to get more students involved. Please encourage your students to stop by the library and find out what the program is about. They can earn prizes and an invitation to the end of the year celebration just by reading books from this years list of Eliot Rosewater "Rosie" nominees.

SRT Passes and Agenda Passes
Students may come to the library before school, during lunch, or after school without a pass.
The library has SRT passes available for students if they need to come to the library during SRT. They just need to stop by before SRT and pick up an orange SRT pass.
If a student needs to do work in the library for your class, please feel free to send them on an agenda pass.
Thanks for your help with this!

Good Times in the Library
Also, Ms. Scanlin has been sharing her students with Mrs. Taylor and letting her join in on her students book talks. Mrs. T is thrilled to be a part of this activity. It gives her a chance to see just how intelligent and well spoken our Slicer students are.
Mrs. Taylor is happy to help you plan or implement any activity or lesson. Just let her know how she can be of help.
