A Note From Dr. Melissa Williams-Scott
Well the world may believe that educators spend their summers lounging on the beach, sipping an umbrella beverage and spending all that money they are making for not working 3 months out of the year; BUT…we all know this is not actually the case. As we prepare to enter the Summer of 2016 (where did the school year go?!) the district will be offering over 100 different professional development options for staff. Quite a few of those are designed to help you infuse technology into your lessons with hands-on sessions. We know that student engagement is a huge piece to the knowledge acquisition puzzle and our students are born essentially knowing how to type with their thumbs. Let's capitalize on those skills. Check out the Eduphoria Workshop site for all the summer PD options. Sign Up, Show Up, Take Your Survey and then go enjoy that beach time you have all earned!!
