A Principal's Perspective
An amazing, extraordinary first week of school doesn't just happen. It takes lots of planning, organization, meetings, teamwork, energy, passion - Wait, I think I am getting tired of just thinking about all that it takes to start our year off with an extraordinary first week! You may be feeling like the pictures below where your tired is tired! Your hard work is very much appreciated! What a gift you are to our students! Thank you for your passion for kids and working together as an extraordinary team to make the first week a picture perfect week setting the stage for an extraordinary year! THANK YOU!!!

A BIG THANK YOU for Melanie, Jessica W. & Kathryn for supervising students and their siblings during parent orientations. Thank you to Julie Grant and Tami Seagraves for recruiting high school students to help as well.
Leaving the Building During the Day?: Rather than coming to the office to sign in/out, you may use GP's electronic sign in/out form from your computer. Link will be emailed from Kathryn. A QR code will be in your box so that you can place by your computer. Leaving/returning during lunch or conference time does not require prior approval. If you need to leave for longer periods of time or at another time, then talk with Donna. Please refer to handbook page 23.
Specialist Invite: The specialists sent out an invite for an intro. to Data/SIT for the school year. Please note: It isn’t necessarily falling on your regular, scheduled SIT Thursday. This informative meeting will set us up for productive, efficient Data/SIT meetings.
ProEthica: As we discussed in staff development, we will complete the 2nd year ProEthica training. A chart below explains what modules we need to complete. All professional staff are participating in the training. After we complete the modules, we will have scheduled group conversations centered around the modules.
What do new professional employees need to complete?
They need to complete the first two modules of Year 1
Year 2 will consist of 2 modules to be completed by everyone.
