Faculty Focus

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to each and every one of you during the fire evacuation on Thursday. Everything went exactly like it is supposed to because each of you did what is required. Thanks for making sure our students were safe! A special thanks to Sommer for handling the situation without any other administrators in the building.

Congratulations to the Science Olympiad Team. They placed 3rd overall in the state out of 20 teams. Thanks to Jennifer and Lorelei for all of the extra time you have taken with this group of kids and for giving up a day away from your families on Saturday during the competition. We are all very proud of you.

Thanks to Marc for staying late and working on the weekend to make sure students have a club for Monday. Best laid plans still brought on extra work. Thanks for putting kids first!

Nuts and Bolts

Weather Make-Up

Make-up day will be February 12.

AdvancED Update

This week we will send out our AdvancED goals. It is important that you review these goals and provide feedback. Once we put these goals into our plan, they will become what we will work on for the next 5 years.

New Clubs

Marc sent out an email on Sunday with information regarding new clubs. Although we tried to limit signup, we discovered that when 750 students sign up at the same time the program that limits sign ups became overloaded. Marc did the best he could to have students in clubs that would be a change of pace for everyone.

Budget Time

Begin putting jotting your ideas down for budget items. We will begin to work on the budget process in the next few weeks.
