As you think about it - just know, my expectation is that whatever tool we land on - we need to be the same (with the exception of Kindergarten). I will share your feedback with our PACE Setters on Tuesday.
Thanks for any feedback....

Message from Hafey...
Lastly, as stressers are setting in with us - they are setting in with our parents as well. Please know that you can come to me and I'll support any situation that comes up. Just be sure to handle them with professionalism and tactfulness. Don't allow them to get the best of you - listen intently, respond as if it was your child the concern surrounds, and always know that you can use Love and Logic tactics - sleep on it and get back to them! Most importantly, be sure to listen. Most of the times, when parents feel they are heard, their anger, frustrations, concerns subside.
Thank you Tilila for your great scheduling of CMAS!

Message from Jorgiea
Just a little message about language and literacy, since all of you have kids that are working on a language goal or two. I know you are all working so hard with the language kids and their reading skills, so I thought I would share with you all as well. I also thought I could help out a little more if you think it will work. I would be willing to put some little 'language baskets' together for your rooms, for the language kids to review basic things we are working on in speech as well as target some vocabulary with you or any para you may have in your room, for about 5 minutes on those days that I am not here. They would be simple activities, but with more exposure could really help them with language and carryover to literacy!
Let me know your thoughts!

Thank you Jorgiea for going above and beyond!
