The Life of an event Planner
Renting an Apartment
As an Event Planner, I am only allowed to spend $779.00 a month on my house. It took me awhile to find an apartment or home that was in my family's budget. The apartment cost me $700 a month, for 3 bedrooms. The apartment offered a washer/dryer, private patios and balconies, on-site laundry, a fitness center, resort styled pools, a playground, and any pets were welcome there! (Found from ForRent.com)
Buying a Car
I am only allowed to $207.73, a month, on my car. Therefore looking for a car , was not that hard. It did not take me long to find my car. My car is under my budget. It is only 149.00 a month. The car was used, but it has only 42K miles. It is like new. It also comes with the Auto, CD, and Power Package.(Found in Green magazine)
Paying Bills
Paying bills was a very stressful task for me. I had worried so much about going in debt, many times! I was always worried about getting the lowest price of everything. As many of the transaction times made my total balance less and less, I started to get worried. My beginning balance
was $4333.33 so I figured I wouldn't go into debt.
Grocery Shopping
I was only allowed to spend $150, on all my grocery store needs, as well as my wants. I realized how hard grocery shopping is, once I could only buy store-brand names. Having to buy only store brand products, finding the lowest price of everything was extremely difficult. Trying to find non-store brand produce , sure was a pain. Trying to stay under the budget was additionally extremely hard! Once I got my total, I was so excited for I didn't go over budget. Then I had to add tax. The tax made me go over budget by $2.00.
I, then had to find lower-priced items, for some products. I ended up not buying any wants because I didn't have the leftover money.
