Skyview Upper Elementary School
Preparing for return to Skyview
We look forward to welcoming some of our students back to on-premises learning and are excited to continue working, learning and growing with all of our students. This edition of News from the 'View contains a virtual video tour of Skyview for our students. This video will also be located on the Soaring to Skyview google site. We recognize that there are likely many questions, and we will do our very best in the coming week to communicate information on procedures to families as we make this transition.
Transition Days will occur for students returning to on-premise instruction as follows:
- Monday, November 9 - Grade 5 Empower
- Tuesday, November 10 - Grade 5 Inspire
- Wednesday, November 11 - Grade 6 Empower
- Thursday, November 12 - Grade 6 Inspire
During these days there will be time set aside for specific class meetings related to building procedures, video messages from counselors and administration, time to select lunch seats and an all-school activity, "Skyview Inspirational Word Quilt." We encourage students to show their Methacton spirit this week by wearing spirit wear or green and white.
Thank you for reviewing all of this information!

Do you still need a district chromebook device?
As we plan for a return to a hybrid model of instruction, it will be important for all Skyview students to have a district-issued chromebook device. Students will need to bring their charged district-issued chromebook device with them to school.
If you have not already picked up a device at the technology department...
- devices may be picked up daily from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Technology Department - located at the Farina Education Center (1001 Kriebel Mill Road) - located in the rear parking lot
- Evening appointments are available on WEDNESDAYs until 7 p.m. - Please sign up here for an evening appointment
