SHORTENED FEBRUARY BREAK
Just a reminder to families that the 2021 February break has been shortened from five days off to just two days off due to COVID-related adjustments to the 2020-21 school year calendar. There is no school on Monday, February 15 and Friday, February 19 due to the observance of Washington’s and Lincoln’s birthdays. However, school will be in session Tuesday through Thursday, February 16 through February 18, so students are expected to attend class on those three days. Spring Break remains the same, Monday, April 12 through Friday, April 16. The last day of school was changed to Friday, June 18, 2021. You can view the official District calendar here.

Kids Heart Challenge Prizes
Any students that have earned Kids Heart Challenge prizes from registering or fundraising can swing by the school between 2:00 -2:30 on Wednesday, Jan. 27th to pick up their prizes. Look for Mrs. Varga wearing her red Kids Heart Challenge shirt near the MPR. Please have your child's name and teacher written on a piece of paper to hold up. Any prizes earned after Friday, Jan. 22nd will be distributed at the next pick-up day (date and time TBD) or will be passed out when students return on campus.
Great Kindness Challenge - Jan. 25th -29th
Join over 15 million students nationwide to spread kindness within your home or community. Teachers will be passing out checklists (either paper or digital) so that students can explore new ways to show others how much they care. Students are encouraged to check off as many items of the list as they can, while still maintaining health and safety protocols. *Please note: some teachers may delay this event in their classrooms until they return on-campus.
