Hello Parents!

Thank you for allowing us to teach your child! I am excited about how God is continuously growing kids at CrossRoads to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to: “to lead to kids to discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus Christ”. For this to happen, it takes a partnership between parents and the Church. Our weekly ministries are designed for you to be able to go home and continue to teach your children. I believe that it is important for the parent to become actively involved in teaching their children the ways of the Lord on a daily basis. Imagine the impact we could have on the next generation, if the same thing they learned on Wednesday night and Sunday morning was the same thing you were teaching them everyday! I hope you will chose to adopt the Psalm 78 Declaration (see below). This is the kind of family environment we are seeking to create.I look forward to partnering with you and watching your child grow into a disciple of the Lord.

For His Glory,

John Thornton, Jr.,

Children's Pastor

Our Psalm 78 Declaration...

Psalm 78:3-7

"Things we have heard and known and that our fathers have passed down to us. We must not hide them from their children, but must tell a future generation the praises of the Lord, His might, and the wonderful works He has performed. He established a testimony in Jacob and set up a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children so that a future generation children yet to be born might know. They were to rise and tell their children so that they might put their confidence in God and not forget God's works, but keep His commands."
