Energy For The Future

Renewable energy
Renewable energy is energy that can be used over and over again. Some types of renewable energy are: biomass energy, solar energy and geothermal energy. One form of biomass energy is wood, which we use to heat our houses. Biomass energy comes from trees. Solar energy comes from the sun. Geothermal energy comes from the earth.
Solar energy
Some people say that solar energy can be the future of energy, and that can definitely be possible. Solar rays come from the sun, and every hour it beams down on earth with enough energy to satisfy global energy needs for a year. Solar energy is the technology used to "catch" the rays from the sun. The only downside is that solar panels don't work during the night. But we would always have enough energy to make it through the night. You can find solar panels on rooftops, spaceships and even calculators. Also, we'll be able to have solar power much longer than energies such as oil and biomass. Solar panels are sometimes affected by cold weather and cloudy weather, but they provide a great long-lasting source of energy.
