Signing Day Ceremony Set For April 11th
Over the course of the past four years the Francis Howell High School Activities Department has celebrated over 200 students that will further their education and activity/sport at the collegiate level. On April 11th, the Class of 2018 will be recognized at the annual Signing Day Ceremony. Currently over 40 student-participants in the Class of 2018 will be furthering their education and activity/sport at the collegiate level. All Viking students, families and friends are encourage to attend this ceremony on April 11th. Information regarding the Signing Day Ceremony can be found below. All students that plan on participating should stop by the Activities Office or email Activities Director Sean Erwin at sean.erwin@fhsdschools.org to ensure that you are represented on the list and all information is correct.
Date: April 11, 2018
Breakfast: - Breakfast will be served from 6:30 -6:45 a.m. in the main gym. Breakfast is available for the student-athlete, family members in picture, our coaches, and media.
Presentation - At 6:45 a.m. students will line up with family members that you would like in your signing picture inside the main gym. Families will then have their signing pictures taken in front of our media wall. Immediately following all signing pictures we will take one large group photo of all student-participants.
Attire - Please dress appropriately for an official signing picture that will be tweeted out and included on our “signing wall” outside the Activities Office. We have reminded all student-athletes that we are not only representing Francis Howell and our programs but also the community and their future universities as well.
Picture – We will have a photographer that will take a picture of each participant and their family. The picture will then be emailed to all parents at no charge.
Gift: To commemorate this annual tradition each student-athlete will receive an official Howell Signing Day t-shirt.
Track Has Strong Performance At Northwest Invitational
The track program braved the cold at Northwest on Saturday to earn many medal performances at both the varsity and JV levels. The Varsity Girls program finished second on the day.
