This Week's Note From Mr. Evan Chelman, Principal
Dear Hill-Roberts Families,
We look forward to improving our school's playground tomorrow between 9AM and 2PM. If you can join us on the 24th, we'd love to have the extra hands. We've partnered with PlayWorks and look forward to creating an improved recess experience for all students!
The HRES Welcome Back Night is happening on Thursday, September 29th from 6-8PM. Again, we're changing to an Open House format. This means you can arrive anytime between 6PM and 7:45PM with your student(s). We will have a "passport" for you to collect paw print stamps from staff members as you visit. WE ASK THAT ALL STUDENTS STAY WITH THEIR ADULTS FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR STAY. Students who are unaccompanied by an adult will be directed back to their adult. Our hope is that the students will be able to be tour guides for their adults to visit classrooms, specialists, and service providers. We will have representatives from PTO, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. Please park responsibly and if you don't need to show up at 6:00, please feel free to wait until closer to 7 so that we might have a more spread out flow.
We will have a raffle prize at the door. Anyone who can show the Attleboro Public Schools APP on their phone will be entered to win a generous gift card to a local restaurant!

Starting late next week, you may notice that an additional button, called Rooms, will be visible at the bottom right of our Attleboro Public Schools mobile app. This button is part of our integrated system of communication and will allow for your child’s teachers/coaches/and other staff to share detailed information (assignments, special events, practice schedules, etc.). More information is forthcoming and we will have a table set up at Welcome Back Night.

Last call for volunteers for tomorrow between 9am-2pm! If you can help our administration and teachers GLOW UP the Hill-Roberts playground by painting, taping, etc -please sign up! An hour, two or more – any amount of time would be so helpful.

PTO MEETINGS
Monthly PTO Meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise stated.
Our next PTO meeting will be October 11th at 6:30pm , held in the school library but also available via Zoom and we invite all to attend!
