Remote Learning Kindergarten Families: Supply and Device Pick-Up (at Anderson)
For our remote Kindergarten students, we will have a materials pick up scheduled on Tuesday, August 18th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
Families can simply drive to the back of the school and pull through the bus lanes. Students will receive any materials they will need for at-home learning, including an iPad.
We are busy creating packets of materials that are specific for our Kindergarten Students. They will include things like; Math Workbooks, Handwriting books, Manipulatives...
It is very important to have every Remote Learning family come to this Material Pick up so your child has all the needed materials
Who are the Anderson Kindergarten Teachers?
Meet Mrs. Peterson
Meet Mrs. Wit
My name is Becky Wit. This will be my 13th year in the classroom and my 4th year in d303 teaching kindergarten. I hold a bachelors degree from Taylor University and a Masters from Aurora University. I took a 12-year break from the classroom to be home with my 4 children. They are now ages 8 - 14, 3rd grade through freshman, in Batavia this fall. My husband Steve is also in education, teaching science and coaching basketball at Glenbard North. We have a one year old dog Roxy that has had lots of extra walks and attention during our quarantine days. I love spending time with my family, watching my kids sports and activities which fills most of my free time. I can't wait to meet your child and help them feel safe and excited to learn together.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Wit
