It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.
What are the working conditions?
Most of them have their own office with a computer desktop. They may also work in a test lab, here they test mechanical parts and test their product or their prototype. They also have a manufacturing plant, in here they work on the manufacturing floor to make sure the production of the product is done properly, they may provide support or instructions to the production team.
What is the current salary?
The current salary of a mechanical engineer is around $77,000 a year
What are the major job responsibilities?
