Engineering Students ended the school year with presentations on their work with local technology companies.

Crimson Crier Photo Selected for National Textbook

A Crimson Crier photo from 2011 has been chosen to be included in a new journalism textbook by Wilcox Publishing. The publishing company will use the photo to show how to take the perfect Rule of Thirds photo for journalism publication. The photo, taken after the April 27 tornadoes, was a candidate for National Scholastic Press Association's Photo of the Year. The photo was taken by Tori Caudill of the class of 2011.

Yearbook Honored by Balfour Publishing

The 2014 Yearbook was recently named to Balfour Publishing's "Yearbook Yearbook" publication that recognizes the best in yearbook design.

for demonstrating superior leadership qualities and potential while serving as a key leader in the Sparkman High School JROTC Program during the school year 2014-2015.

Three Newspaper Students Selected to Prestigious Workshop

Juniors Patrick Rickles, Aiesha Desarme, and Aliyah Thompson have been selected to attend the Multicultural Journalism Workshop at the University of Alabama this summer. This is an all-expense paid week-long intensive workshop. Congrats guys!

Student Takes First Place in State Milling Contest

Cody Kirkland who attends Precision Machining at the Madison County Career Technical Center placed 1st in the Alabama SkillsUSA State Computer Numerical Controlled Programming Milling Contest.
