Every day is a celebration!
Make a Difference Mondays! A great way to make a difference is to be kind and smile at people! This small gesture can change a person's whole day around!
Take Care Tuesdays! Take care to prepare for final exams. Get a good night’s sleep, eat right, relax and get in the right frame of mind. Be confident. You can do this!
Way to Go Wednesdays! Shout out to Mrs. Gribble who coordinated the new student ice cream social that was a huge success last night. Also a big “way to go” to all of the staff and students who helped.
Thankful Thursdays! Take time today to think about what you are thankful for from this school year? Having a grateful mind and heart make life a lot better!
Fun Fact Fridays! Only two mammals like spicy food: humans and the tree shrew. While humans have long had the rare distinction of being the only mammal that actually enjoys spicy food, that list has seen a new addition, as a study by Chinese researchers found that tree shrews have a mutation in their ion channel receptor, TRPV1, which makes it less sensitive to the "hot" chemical in chili peppers. As a result, the adorable critters happily gobbled up corn pellets laced with the compounds that give peppers their spice, while other mammals in the study avoided them.
