Marking Period 4 Begins April 5th

We will begin marking the fourth making on Monday, April 5. This is the final stretch of this school year and it gets pretty crazy with spring sports and events leading up to graduation. It is very important that students stay on top of their classwork and finish strong. Let's all stay motivated and push toward the finish line!

Spring Sports Update

Spring sports are beginning this week. Spring sports include track and field, golf, men's tennis, and softball. Check the announcements for updates and practice information. Students who wish to participate must have a physical on file.

Homecoming Week!!

The staff and students at WHS will be celebrating Homecoming this week.


Dress-up days are as follows:

Mon: Pajama

Tues: Tourist

Wed: TV/Movie

Thurs: Essential Worker

Fri: Western

Westwood Students compete in Voices of Democracy

Three WHS students placed in the Voice of Democracy Audio Essay competition at the local level, VFW Post 4573. First place went to Brad Luce, grade 9, whose essay then took first place in the 14th District, and continued on to state competition.


Meg Harmon, grade 12, took second place at the local level.


Elise Ketola (left), grade 9, took third place at the local level.


All three earned scholarship money as well as the awards pictured. Go Patriots!
