Mission Statement

St. John Lutheran School exists to nurture children in faith and intellect, equipping them for Christian lives of service.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 41:10

A Slice of “Spiritual Bread” for the Christian Home . . .

Jesus said to her {Martha}, “I am the resurrection and the life.

The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God,

who is to come into the world.” John 11:25-27

Jesus had some comforting words for Martha. Her brother had recently died. Martha’s faith was being tested. In the midst of her sorrow, Jesus offered Martha true peace and comfort. Martha embraced Jesus’ words---her faith in Jesus as her Savior shined brightly.

You and I, by God’s grace, share Martha’s faith in Jesus and His power over sin and death as our Lord and Savior. May God bless us as we share the peace of Jesus with others!

Have a wonderful day and may Jesus always keep you in His care!

Blessings in Christ,

Jon Woldt, Principal

We are Still Collecting Chapel Donations for Chilenje

Chapel Mission: The Chilenje Project

Our chapel offerings for the second half of the year will be supporting

Chilenje Lutheran Church in Chilenje, Zambia.

This is a group of Christians who are struggling to raise money for a church building to worship in. Currently, they hold their church services in a large tent, but they do have plans to build a church and a school. We have the special opportunity to support them with our chapel offerings. Please keep Chilenje Lutheran Church in your prayers, and consider supporting them with a financial gift as they seek to do God’s work in Africa!

Total offering so far: $248.74
