ThirdSpace Position Details
The Third Space is looking to hire three managers to help with the operational side of the space. The managers will work with students, tutors and the Cabot housemasters to open and run the space. An artistic background in neither required nor expected but we are looking for students excited about art and the art community at Harvard even if it would be your first time getting involved. The positions are expected to take around 5 hours per week. Perks from being a part of The Third Space management team include:
- Unlimited access to the space, free classes, and free supplies
- Priority for small classes, limited supplies, guest speakers, and events
- Ability to influence the overall direction of a young and exciting project at Harvard
Finance Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage The Third Space budget for supplies and events
- Pursue and apply for relevant grants
- Work with the leadership team to develop a payment model for classes and supplies
- Process all reimbursements, course fees, and other purchases
Marketing Manager
Responsibilities
- Maintain and create online presence (Facebook and website)
- Advertise events and classes through a variety of methods
- Promote The Third Space name and manage its image
- If interested, design posters and a logo
Events Manager
Responsibilities
- Work with art instructors to create events at the space
- Create and maintain relationships with Harvard and Cambridge art groups
- Manage calendar of events for The Third Space
- Come up with creative ways to get students to explore art
