Trojan Families,

Thank you for your continued support! It was wonderful to see so many families attend our in-person "Cafecito" and Back to School Night!

We are pleased to announce that Main Street Middle School was awarded Platinum Level Recognition for PBIS! We firmly believe that positive behavior intervention systems support our school community to become not only great scholars, but great citizens of our community here is Soledad. Congratulations to the Trojan Staff and to our Trojan Scholars, this is YOUR award. Keep it up! Here at Main Street, we are RESPECTfUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN! GOOOOO TROJANS!

Thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support and partnership.

Restorative Justice @ MSMS

On August 19th, we had some of our MSMS staff members attend our Restorative Justice Training. Our staff learned about Respect Agreements, Community Circles and ways to support students in learning positive behavior. We are excited to provide this opportunity to our students and staff here at MSMS!

MSMS Drop-off Protocol

To ensure instructional time is not interrupted and to avoid lost items, we will not be accepting drop-offs for students. If you need to bring something for your child, your child will be called out of class so you can deliver the item to them. Please make sure your child comes prepared to school with all materials needed (PE clothes, water, lunch, etc.) Thank you for your support in this matter.

Friends Helping Friends Group

Thank to to Ms.Athena, Ms.Alondra, Mr.Belmonte and Ms.Sylvia for supporting our students with Friends Helping Friends Group. It's great to hear the students share a little about themselves!

Information from the Counselors

Counselors are hard at work enrolling new students and ensuring that all students have accurate schedules.

Schedule changes will not be made based on a change in elective preference at this point. We use the course requests that students submit in the spring to staff our campus for the following school year.

We do not make teacher changes without following a thorough process that includes a parent-teacher conference. All of our teachers strive to meet the needs of all of their students and create a welcoming environment.

If you have a concern about a course or a teacher, please reach out directly to the teacher to give that teacher an opportunity to have dialogue with you about your concerns.

If your child is going to be out all day, coming to school late or leaving early, please email the attendance clerk. You may also email any doctor notes to them.

When a student checks out with attendance and then returns to school at a later time, that student will need to check back in through the attendance office before resuming their normal schedule.

Email: for any assistance needed!
