The Beginning of Everything
By: Robyn Schneider
"Smart, funny, heartbreaking, and so true it hurts... this is a book you will never forget."
Introduction
Ezra Faulkner believes everyone has a tragedy waiting for them—a single encounter after which everything that really matters will happen. His particular tragedy waited until he was primed to lose it all: in one spectacular night, a reckless driver shatters Ezra’s knee, his athletic career, and his social life.
About The Author: Robyn Schneider
Robyn grew up in a town coincidentally similar to Eastwood (the town in which the novel takes place). She studied creative writing at the University of Columbia and medicine ethics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Robyn now lives in Los Angeles, California where she continues to do what she loves; writing.
Ezra Faulkner
No longer a front-runner for Homecoming King, Ezra finds himself at the table of misfits, where he encounters new girl Cassidy Thorpe. Cassidy is unlike anyone Ezra’s ever met, achingly effortless, fiercely intelligent, and determined to bring Ezra along on her endless adventures.
New York Times Review
"It’s an endearing book filled with similarly touching little moments and plenty of snappy dialogue that may not be quite credible — Cassidy drops in casual references to Shakespeare and Foucault — but makes for entertaining reading, anyway."
