The Falcon Flash
April Edition
Principal's Message
A couple of the fantastic events that have recently occurred are the staff v. student basket ball game and the food drive that was sponsored by the student council. The day before spring break we had a terrific time as a building, when we hosted an assembly and watched as the students squeaked out a win against their teachers. It was a fun time for everyone that included a few min-competitions during the break from basketball. We saw pies in the face of our teachers, quick one-on-one events between students, and event some creative cheering with signs. The even was organized by Mr. Rowe and was supported by many staff members. It has become and instant tradition.
The Fox River student council was also able to collect nearly 1000 pieces of non-perishable food donations. All donations were given to the local Waterford Food Pantry. Many of the donations came from the homes of our students. It was a great experience for all and we want to thank you for your generosity.
Our entire school was able to make the trip to the high school to watch, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. It has been several years since we were able to attend a performance and it did not disappoint. The high school students put on a great performance and our students did a fantastic job demonstrating positive behavior.
Have a great April,
Jason

March was MIOSM: Music In Our Schools Month. To celebrate this, the BOLT team decorated the commons with pictures and posters of Fox River Music events of the past. On the 16th, the eighth grade Concert Band, Chamber Strings and Choir hosted the 37th Annual Senior Citizen’s Concert. Students were encouraged to invite their beloved grandparents or a senior that they know. Following the concert the students then enjoyed cupcakes and time with their guests.
