Distance learning.. our new "normal"
Welcome back Jaguar families and new Jaguar families! We understand that this new school year has been a rapid change to what we're used to. Distance learning is not only new to our students but for parents as well. For our students to be successful we must all come together (even if it's virtual) as a team to ensure your child's success. As a community school, we will continue to provide support and resources available in the community. We will be keeping our families informed with this monthly newsletter.
WWMS Distance learning handbook SY 20-21
**Parents, please note as part of the WWMS distance learning class rules, students are to have their cameras on and be camera ready. If students do not want to have their cameras on, parents will have to fill out an opt-out form. Students who will not have their cameras on will have to utilize a Bitmoji selfie. The opt-out form will be sent to families in the upcoming week.

Message from our Guidance department
We as the William Wirt Support Services Department want to say welcome to this 20-21 school year! This year we are "Thinking Bigger and Going Beyond" ... what we knew was normal! We know things are not as expected and will be a major shift and transition for you as parents as well as for our scholars, which is why we are here to help navigate through this virtual process. This year you can expect an abundance of support from our team, as we want to make sure we are partnering with you for a successful year. On a continuous basis we will be providing academic support, emotional and mental support, resource and supplies support to students and your entire family, continued college and career lessons and exposure, individual and small group counseling, as well as a host of other fun and engaging activities. We would like you to know that daily, with live people in English and Spanish, we will be providing some virtual support to you to help with answering any questions you may have, provide some technology support, as well as helping your student access their classes.
