Tradition Lake Plateau at Tiger Mountain

Hike around Tradition Lake on this beautiful, mostly flat hike. We will start at the Swamp Trail which includes an interpretive story about the animals in the wetland. Perfect for little ones as an introduction to hiking. 2 miles round trip.

Second Saturday Family Hikes - Free

From I-90, a few miles east of Issaquah, take Exit 20 for High Point and turn south on 270th Ave SE. Just a few yards south of I-90, turn right onto SE 79th St and continue on west. The pavement ends in 0.4 miles, and a gate there is open each day from dawn until dusk.

A Washington state Discover Pass is required to park in the parking lot. These can be purchased at Fred Meyer, Big 5, REI, etc. or on-line. More info at: They are $10/day or $30/year. The pass can be used at many locations. There is an option to go without a pass, if you'd rather park 1/4 mi down the road. You could drop-off kids then go park the car and/or we could shuttle families as needed.

We will meet at the Education Shelter near the restroom at 1:00 and hit the trail by 1:30.
