Dear New Tech High @ Coppell families,
I am thrilled to share with you the successful events that took place at our school this past week. Firstly, I am excited to announce that New Tech had the privilege of hosting the North Texas Jr. Business Symposium. This event brought local business leaders to our school to teach and inspire our learners about the various fields and aspects of the business world. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage with professionals and gain firsthand knowledge about potential career paths.
In addition to the business symposium, we also hosted the latest installment of the Faculty vs. Senior competitions. This time, the competition was in volleyball, and to everyone's surprise, the Seniors pulled off an impressive upset win against our faculty team. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by both sides were truly remarkable, and it was heartwarming to witness the strong camaraderie and sportsmanship among our students and staff. Congratulations to our seniors for their well-deserved victory!
Finally, the Coppell Education Foundation's Prize Patrol visited today to deliver news that four grants requested through CEF this Fall were approved and funded! Congratulations to Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Boyd, Mrs. Bence, and Ms. Shephard for receiving substantial grants for the amazing work you do for learners!
Thank you to all who participated and supported these events. They not only provided valuable learning experiences for our learners, but also fostered a sense of unity and school spirit. As always, we remain committed to providing exceptional opportunities for growth and engagement, and I look forward to the upcoming activities and achievements that the remainder of the school year holds.
Sincerely,
Joseph Smith Principal, New Tech High @ Coppell
