If you would like to promote an event from your club or organization, please submit your request to Sarah Habtemariam at shabtemariam@uca.edu by Thursday, to go out in the following week's newsletter.

Tax Workshop Schedule

You do not need an appointment to attend these workshops but we do encourage you to register for these workshops using this link.



Virtual Workshops:

March 18 or April 1, 2023

Saturday 1-3pm

Via Google Meet


On campus Workshops:

March 6-April 13, 2023 (not including Spring Break)

Every Monday from 6pm or 7:30pm

Every Thursday at, 1pm

Location: COB 210


Be sure to bring the following documents with you to the Tax Workshop:

  • Passport

  • Visa

  • I-20 or DS-2019

  • I-94 Travel History

  • W2 (if applicable)

  • 1042-S (if applicable)

  • Completed In-take Form - these forms are also available to pick up in the Center for Global Learning and Engagement Office


If you are not able to attend one of the free Tax Workshops on campus, our office has also purchased access codes from Sprintax in order for you to file your federal tax return for free. If you are required to file an Arkansas State tax return, you will be responsible for this expense. Please see additional information below regarding Sprintax.

THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES MARCH 19-26TH.

The Center for Global Learning & Engagement will PHYSICALLY CLOSED MONDAY, MARCH 20TH THROUGH FRIDAY, MARCH 24TH. On these days staff will be working remotely from home. We will still be available to assist you via EMAIL- at international@uca.edu and PHONE at 501-450-3445. All appointments will take place virtually.

SPRING BREAK UPDATES FOR TRAVEL, HOUSING, AND CAFETERIA

Travel Signatures

If you are traveling outside of the United States please make sure page 2 of your I-20 or 1 of your DS-2019 is signed for travel.


Please follow the instructions below to get your I-20 or DS-2019 signed:


  1. Fill out the travel signature form

  2. Drop off your I-20 or DS-2019

  3. Wait for an email about when to pick up your documents

HOUSING- IF YOU PLAN TO STAY ON CAMPUS DURING SPRING BREAK, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION IN MYUCA BY MARCH 17TH.

IF YOU ARE LIVING IN A UCA APARTMENT YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT A REQUEST.


COST- RATES ARE NOT PRORATED


  • DOUBLE ROOM- $145.00
  • SINGLE ROOM- $220.00


IF YOU STAY FOR ONE DAY YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE WHOLE WEEK


YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR SPRING BREAK ON MARCH 20TH


INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REQUEST TO STAY ON CAMPUS FOR SPRING BREAK


  1. Login to your Myuca student account
  2. Click the "MyHousing" tab
  3. At the top of the home page click " Apply for housing"
  4. Scroll down and find Spring break 2023
  5. Read through the application and submit your request
  6. Sign the contract with your B number (Ex: B01867493)
