April Celebrations:
Occupational Therapist Appreciation Month: Occupational Therapy Month began in 1980. Occupational Therapists provide care to improve the quality of life by recommending changes to a work routine, equipment or stretches and exercises to reduce the risk of injuries.
Community Event Spotlight: Downtown Oswego Bunny Hop! Your $6 ticket includes a commemorative Bunny Hop Tote Bag with coloring activity and a pass to "hop" around downtown to collect special treats! A scavenger hunt with prizes, a coloring contest, and more! Upgrade to include your family photo with the Easter Bunny available. IN PERSON PLAYGROUPS - Now open at Long Beach Elementary!
- Who Wants to Play? This caregiver/child playgroup is a program provided by the SD 308 Family Support Center and is open to all SD 308 families with children five years and younger not yet attending Kindergarten. Caregiver/child playgroups work in partnership with parents to provide a variety of play experiences and activities that support the physical, emotional and social development of children. - To sign up for a playgroup: Click on the in-person playgroup link and sign up for your day/time; you will then receive an email from the Family Support Department

Registration
Central Registration is MOVING and will be CLOSED over Spring Break. It will reopen on Tuesday, April 4th at its new location at the District Administration Center, 4175 Route 71 (Door 1), Oswego, Illinois, 630-608-5028. During Spring Break, Central Registration will be closed and unavailable to meet with individuals or return phone calls.
- PLEASE NOTE: Students currently enrolled at Brokaw or a satellite preschool location (Prairie Point, Long Beach, or Wolfs Crossing) will receive information to them by the Early Childhood administration for parents/guardians to complete the Returning Student Registration form in April.

COVID-19
Safety Plan Updates are being announced next week. The changes will begin when school resumes after spring break.
Free Test Kits: All American households can order two sets of four free at-home COVID-19 test kits. Order here.

Old Traughber (AHM):
Spring Break COVID District Testing Hours:
Old Traughber location ONLY on Wed., 3/30 and Fri., 4/1 from 2-6pm
- Registration is completed through an electronic consent form for students and staff. Once registered and consent is given, testing can be completed at any of the above. Lab results will be automatically fed from the lab into CrisisGo and you will receive an email from CrisisGo with results. Information can also be found on the testing site information page on the district website.
- Please Note: Federal testing funds have been depleted. At this time, testing can only be done at this location if insurance is available. There will be no cost to the person being tested (no co-pay, deductible, cost-share). Please be sure your registration online includes your insurance.
