Goodbye Sixth Grade
& thoughts on summer
Published Authors do What in the Summer?
It has been a pleasure this year watching you find your voices as authors. I hope you will keep writing, designing your websites and following your curiosity. It is no longer and assignment (phew!). Instead, it's my hope for each of you. I'm following your blogs in my own Reader, and I hope you'll follow each other's. I'll be watching and waiting to see what you write about! Some of you will write about your experiences this summer, others will imagine events and write fantasy. Maybe you'll use your blog as a platform to voice your opinion, to take a stand about something you care about. Others of you, I imagine will use your blog as a place to reflect and document your design work as you develop as visual or musical artists. I know for sure that a good number of you will blog about your summer reading. How impressed will your seventh grade teachers be?!? However you use your blog, please put your best foot forward, model responsible digital citizenship and inspire someone with your writing!
And the award for the most photogenic class ever goes to...
You! Thank you for being so welcoming to my camera this year. I absolutely LOVE looking back at all of the incredible learning we did together. Here's a link to a Shutterfly share site where all of the pictures are stored. Feel free to download pictures, order prints or put your favorite picture on a mug! If you would like to watch our end of year video, it is posted on the Sulliteach Blogspot. I hope you will enjoy sharing it with your families!
