Distance Learning Materials Pickup

Please pick up your student’s folder on Tuesdays from 8 AM - 5 PM each week. It will be in a milk crate labeled with your child’s grade level. You can also return their folder in that same bin with any work from the previous week. If the weather is nice, the crates will be outside, otherwise they will be in the entryway. School supplies will be sent home on Friday, November 20 with students to use at home. When we eventually return to our hybrid model, we ask that they are all sent back to school.

Meals for Students

Pickup from 11:00am-1:00pm Monday-Friday at the Waseca High School U Drive or the Hartley loading dock. Students will get a hot lunch and a cold breakfast for the following day. Extra meals will be sent on the last day before a break.

“Pop up” meal delivery stations are at the locations and times listed below. If you or your child cannot get to school building for meal pickup, try to utilize one of these locations:

South:

University Park (Corner of 4th St SW and Johnson Ave) 11:00am-11:20am

Southview Park (7th ST SE) 11:30am-11:50am


Northwest:

Northwest Park (4th ST NW & 4th Circle NW) 11:00am-11:20am

Loon Lake Park (Parking Lot) 11:30am-1150am


Northeast:

Team Academy (Parking Lot) 11:00am-11:20am

Northeast Park (Parking Lot) 11:30am-1150am

Distance Learning Attendance

Student Responsibility:

  • Attend assigned classes every day, the whole day that school is in session.

  • Students who have access to the internet will earn attendance through Zoom, daily posts, programs like Prodigy, Epic, ThinkCentral, contact with their teacher, etc.

  • Students when the internet is not working should let the parent/teacher know so the parent/teacher is aware of internet problems so they are informed of the situation and can plan accordingly.

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities:

  • Encourage and require your student to contact the teacher of a specific class daily and on time.

  • Inform the school by telephone (507-833-8326), or email (attendance@team.k12.mn.us), of a student absence no later than 9:00AM the day of absence.

  • Inform the school if something is occurring that is preventing your student from attending school regularly. Such as the internet being down, illness, emergency, etc.

  • Work cooperatively with school personnel to solve any attendance problems that may arise.

  • Report any attendance problems that may arise to the student's teacher, Kate Bartz (507-833-8326) school social workers Jenna Auen (507-833-8373) or Ashlee Conley (507-781-0116)

December Family Night

We are planning a virtual Family Night on Thursday, December 17 at 6:00 PM over Zoom. As we get closer we will send out the information to families through Google Classroom.

Picture Retakes

We will reschedule our picture retake day to when we are back in person. Once we know the date we will let parents know!

COVID Positive

Please continue to let our attendance line know if your child tests positive. This will help us know what our school situation looks like and if we can come back to school in person.

Scentsy Fundraiser

Our Scentsy Fundraiser will be November 20-December 3. Product will arrive before our Holiday break or you can order online have have product shipped directly to you!
