Tightening Up Tutorial

We will start the "Mustang Round-Up" on Tuesday, November 5.

Here are some details:

  • Tutorial announcements are currently being made letting students know they have to be in a classroom during tutorial by the bell otherwise they will be sent to the "Mustang Round-Up" in the MPR
  • A GLC will scan students in and an email will be sent to parents/guardians
  • All students in "Mustang Round Up" will quietly work on something in the MPR. It is not a hang out time! We really want our students to focus on finishing homework, getting extra help, and using that time during the school day to get ahead.
  • Please lock your door from 10:40 - 10:50 am! This will help us get kids to the MPR and let them know the importance of getting to class on time.

Note: Please remind students of the importance of tutorial! More work during tutorial leads to less work at home.

12 WEEKS PROGRESS REPORT 2019!

The Grading Portal will be opened to ALL USERS on, Thursday, October 31st to Friday, November 8th.

Grades DUE by 3:00 p.m. on FRIDAY, November 8th.

Thanks everyone.

Shoutout to our Mustangs going above and beyond!

Pam Lewis and American Sign Language

Pam Lewis (our ASL teacher) is going above and beyond for Walnut High School. Pam is volunteering her time to be an advisor for our ASL club. She also had our kids go to the Sensory Friendly Almost, Maine performance to see sign language in action while supporting the arts.

Landis and NHS Induction

Last Friday, our National Honor Society held its Induction Ceremony. Over 60 members were inducted as they made a commitment to uphold the four pillars of Character, Leadership, Service, and Scholarship. A true embodiment of The Walnut Way.
