A big congratulations are in order for Head Coach Dianna Sager as she had her 400th win on Tuesday nights win against Dunbar. What an accomplishment!
CHHS SWim and Dive
This past weekend, the Colleyville Swim and Dive team competed at District 11-5A Championships. The boys placed 2nd overall and the girls placed 5th overall. The Colleyville Swim and Dive team will be competing at Region 3-5A Championships in Frisco on February 2-4.

Soaring Valor students join WWII vets for trip of a lifetime
The Charms
The Charms competed at the North Texas Color Guard Association competition held at Lamar HS. Out of 25 units they ranked 6th. They also achieved 4th in movement performance, 4th in general effect, and received a Division 1 rating.

LADY PANTHERS KICK OFF THEIR SEASON!
The Varsity team played two games this week
- Tuesday they started the season with a win against Dunbar 9-0.
- Friday they played Eastern Hills and won with a score of 7-0.
The JV team played their first district game against Eastern Hills and won with a score of
9-1.
*Special thanks to all the player's parents for all of their help getting the season kicked off with a great team dinner & locker decorating.
CHHS Girls Soccer Spotlight Player of the Week
Janelle Griffin-Varsity Senior #4
Janelle plays right back for CHHS. She has played select soccer for the past 10+ years for Solar, FC Dallas, and Liberty. Janelle is involved in Spirit Sisters and loves hanging out with friends. She plays soccer at CHHS because she loves the friends she has made and how they work together as a team.
Allie Lumpkin-Varsity Senior #2
Allie plays right forward for CHHS. She has played select soccer for both Liverpool & the Texans. She won first team all-district and offensive MVP last year. Allie is a member of the National Honor Society and student council. Allie says she plays soccer at CHHS because she has played soccer her whole life and wanted to finish her last four years playing with her friends and to keep in shape .
Hannah Mayes-Varsity Senior #17
Hannah plays center midfielder for CHHS. She has played select soccer for both The DFW Tornadoes & Andromeda. Allie is a member of the National Honor Society, NAHS, and Spirit Sisters. Hannah says she plays soccer at CHHS because soccer is a sport she has always enjoyed and she can't imagine playing anything else.
Peyton Neves-Varsity Senior #14
Peyton plays left midfield for CHHS. She has played select soccer for Sting Soccer Club and on that team they won the State Championship in 2013. Peyton is the President of Wells of Hope, a member of Redefining Beautiful, and Spirit Sisters. Peyton says she plays soccer at CHHS because she has played soccer since she was little, it keeps her in shape, and it's a good bonding experience for her and her friends.
Business Professionals of America
Everyone placed and received a plaque in Business Professionals of American at the Regional Competition last Saturday at Keller High School. State Qualifiers will compete in the BPA State Contest in Dallas, March 3 - 5.

CHHS Boys Basketball Spotlight Players of the Week
Nikolas Guerra – Varsity
Nik is a Junior Guard who was inspired to play basketball by Daniel Guerra. His favorite part of the game is growing as a team. He says he thinks his game most resembles Steve Kerr. His personal goal for the season is to be completely ready for every game and his goal for the team is to beat Grapevine.
Spencer Scarborough– JV
Spencer is a Sophomore Forward who says his favorite thing about Basketball is everything; ball is life. He thinks his game most resembles LeBron James. His favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse and his dream car is a truck. His favorite class besides basketball is World History.
Nolan Ruhland– Freshman Black
Nolan is a Freshman Guard who says his favorite thing about basketball is playing games. He think his game most resembles Danny Ange. His favorite restaurant is Whataburger and his dream car is a Prius. In his free time he likes to go to the gym.
Jeffrey Shirley – Freshman Red
Jeffrey is a Freshman Guard who was inspired to play by his dad. He says his game most resembles Kyle Korver. His favorite restaurant is Sonic, and his dream car is a Ford F150 truck. His personal goal for the season is to score 10 points every game and his team goal is to win more games than we lose.
Matthew Ponce – Freshman Red
Matthew is a Freshman Forward who says his game most resembles Kawhi Leonard. His favorite thing about basketball is playing with a team and winning games with the team. He was inspired to play basketball by his dad because he taught him how to play. His team goal for the season is to keep good team chemistry and to keep our team bonding tight.
