Spring News

Welcome back from Spring Break. We hope that students enjoyed the time off with family and friends. Students have now entered the beginning of the final quarter. During the 4th quarter students will take various assessments including the State AIR, STAR, Pro Core and End of Course exams. We will send out notices of these assessments.

Does your child get enough sleep?

Sleep is vital to one's well being. Getting enough rest is vital to staying healthy and staying productive and on task throughout the day. Biological sleep patterns shift during adolescence. Research shows that teens need a total of 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night to function the best. One study done by the Sleep Foundation reported only 15% of teens reported sleeping 8 hours per night.

Lack of sleep can lead to a weaken immune system, limit the ability to concentrate, solve problems and listen.
